Citius Mag Does NCAA Indoors Week

Here at Citius Mag, we’re not really in college. Jeanne and Nicole are in graduate programs, but that’s different. For the most part, our days as students are behind us. In fact, in the early days of the site, we tossed around the idea of our tagline being “Citius Mag — hey, we’re not in college.”

Accordingly, we maybe haven’t dedicated as much of our mental energy as we should have to the collegiate running scene lately. Well that stops today, because this week, Citius Mag goes… back to school.

That’s right. We are re-enrolling our focus and are zeroing in on what looks to be an Oregon-centric weekend of track & field action, as the Lady Ducks hope to take home the team title, buoyed by their tremendous sprint squad and Sir Edward Cheserek attempts to topple the field in all three individual events he’s slated to compete in.

We’ll have some photographers on-hand this weekend at Texas A&M’s gorgeous indoor facility. We’ll give you the rundown on what to do and what to see while you’re in College Station. We’ll preview the entire meet and forecast who’s going to to bring great pride and joy to their campuses and who will go home a mild disappointment, but still accepted with open arms. We’ll tell you how to beat the favorites in several key events. And who knows? Maybe we’ll live-Tweet the action this weekend as well.

If you’ve got any hot tips for us, want us to cover any particular issue or event with increased attentiveness or hope that we’ll just scrap this idea and do what we normally do, fire us an email: citiusmag@gmail.com. We’re also open to any reader submissions.

Study up, kiddos. And welcome to syllabus week here at Eastern Citius State University.
