The WBZ television broadcast will have a FREE webcast at CBSBoston.com but is geoblocked outside of New England. However, savvy web users in these days of privacy concerns have already installed a VPN, and fans of global sports such as road racing know a VPN can be used to bypass geoblocking.

If it’s not going to be possible for you to see the Boston Marathon, maybe you can hear it instead. Radio coverage will be on WBZ NewsRadio (AM 1030) in the Boston area and webcast everywhere on iHeartRadio.com.
