Introducing “Something In The Water” – A New Podcast In Collaboration With The Terminal Mile

November 25, 2017

On the north side of the border there are few track clubs more storied and talked about than the Speed River Track and Field Club and the closely related University of Guelph program. The club may not be the oldest but it has made good use of its time to cultivate immortal track legends, build unmatched dynasties and get people to talk about track and field again.

This new podcast is a full-access tour of the club, offering glimpses at the lives of Olympians and top tier athletes and those who are hungry to reach that level.

From the less-than-glamorous beginnings of winter-running on recycled conveyor belts (for lack of an indoor track ) to producing world recognized runners like Genevieve Lalonde, Reid Coolsaet, Eric Gillis, Taylor Milne and Anthony Romaniw, this is a complete guide to the premier Canadian track club.

Over the coming week’s we offer you the chance to immerse yourself in the Speed River and see if there is Something In The Water.
