Tom Farrell does two treadmill tests to measure his heart rate and lactate levels. One of the tests was a max test.
“I wouldn’t wish it upon anybody. It is so tough,” Farrell says.
In the max test, he’s running as hard as he can once he’s his the anaerobic stage. Lactate levels are measured before and after. There are no breaks. You run as long and as hard as you can until you almost fall off the back of the treadmill.
In his previous vlog, he says that he was going to undergo testing to determine what may be wrong with him in training since he has not felt 100%.
