By Chris Chavez

June 21, 2018

Chris Chavez and Kevin Liao get together in the stands during the men’s 20K race walk to recap all the day’s action from Day 1 of the USATF Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Lopez Lomong made history by becoming the first man to win a U.S. outdoor title in the 1,500 meters and 10,000 meters. Molly Huddle rebounded from the Boston Marathon to throw down a 64-second final lap and win her fourth U.S. 10,000m title.

Emma Coburn made some comments about Olympic champion Ruth Jebet’s reported positive test for EPO. Courtney Frerichs landed us an Olive Garden sponsorship. Noah Lyles loved The Incredibles 2. Get all the insight from the mixed zone from your two favorite track nerds.
