How To Watch The Chicago Marathon: Live Stream, TV Channel, Schedule, Results

The 2023 Chicago Marathon kicks off on Sunday, October 8th for the 45th edition of the event. On the women’s side, two-time defending champion Ruth Chepngetich and American record holder Emily Sisson will return to compete. They will be joined by 2023 London Marathon champion Sifan Hassan, who will be racing in her first American marathon. On the men’s side, some of the names to watch for include Kelvin Kiptum and Bashir Abdi, as well as Americans Galen Rupp and Conner Mantz. Here’s how to follow along the action in Chicago:

When: October 8, 2023

Where: Chicago, IL

Time: The first wave of the marathon starts at 8:30 a.m. ET, the second wave starts at 9 a.m. ET, and the third wave starts at 9:35 a.m. ET.

Live Stream: Full marathon coverage will be streamed on nbcchicago.com, telemundochicago.com and the NBC 5 and Telemundo Chicago apps from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. ET.

TV Broadcast: ​​Full marathon coverage will be broadcasted on NBC 5 Chicago, Telemundo Chicago and TeleXitos from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. ET.
