CITIUS MAG, HOKA To Open The CITIUS Cafe For Boston Marathon Weekend

By Chris Chavez

April 2, 2024

In 10 days, we will see you in Boston as we partner with Hoka for all of the marathon festivities taking place that weekend.

We were blown away by the turnout for our group run and live shows at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials in Orlando so we’ve decided to bring that magic for America’s most historic marathon.

Here’s what we’ll have happening at The CITIUS Cafe at 344 Newbury Street.

RSVP and get more details on the events here.

  • WEEKEND KICKOFF RUN: We will kick off the weekend with an easy run on Friday evening for those getting into town early to pick up their bibs. All paces are welcome. There will be an opportunity to try the HOKA Cielo X1 – their fastest racing shoe yet. We’ll have some giveaways (to be announced soon) and tons of Olipop for people. (5:30 pm. On Friday)
  • MARATHON PREVIEW SHOW: Join the CITIUS MAG team LIVE as we preview and break down all the top contenders and storylines ahead of Monday’s race. This will also be streamed on the CITIUS MAG YouTube channel and shared as a CITIUS MAG Podcast episode afterward. (Noon on Saturday)
  • TELL US YOUR BOSTON STORY: For the first time, we’re opening up the chance for YOU to be a guest on the CITIUS MAG Podcast. We’ll be set up at the CITIUS CAFE with mics ready to hear how YOUR Boston Marathon story. We’re talking to strangers and seeking to find some of the most unique qualifying, training or tradition stories behind America’s most historic marathon. (10 a.m. on Sunday)

THE CITIUS ALT WATCH SHOW: For the third year in a row, we’re going LIVE on the CITIUS MAG YouTube channel with an alternative watchalong option to the broadcast as we provide our own commentary, jokes and analysis as the race unfolds. Catch all our reactions in real time. For those in Boston spectating, we’ll have TVs set up so you don’t miss a moment of the race before you go and cheer for your friends, family and loved ones. (9 a.m. on Monday)
