The third stop of the 2023 Diamond League circuit makes its way to Florence, Italy for the Golden Gala Pietro Mennea. The meet is star-studded and features world champions Faith Kipyegon in the women’s 1500 meters and Fred Kerley in the 100 meters. The men’s 5000 meters is one of the deepest fields ever with 14 men who have run under 13:00. Erriyon Knighton, Anna Hall, Tara Davis-Woodhall, Josette Andrews, Grant Holloway, Emma Coburn and Courtney Wayment are among the American stars expected to compete.
