Genevieve LaCaze will be taking over our Instagram account on Wednesday for a look at a day in her life.
The two-time Australian Olympian is coming off a year in which she set 17 personal bests across the 800m, 1,500m, 3,000m, 5,000m, road 5K and 3,000m steeplechase in 2016. She also placed ninth with a personal best time of 9:21.21 in the Olympic final for the 3,000-meter steeplechase but then lowered that time less than two weeks later at the Paris Diamond League and ran 9:14.28.
LaCaze ran at Florida before turning professional and joining the Melbourne Track Club. She is signed with Nike and lives quite the nomadic lifestyle for a professional runner.
She will be taking over the @CitiusMag Instagram account so follow along and check out our story.
