Three Shoes The Getting Chicked Hosts Are Wearing Right Now: Latest Picks From Zappos

By Citius Mag Staff

May 21, 2026

The Getting Chicked trio is in three very different places right now.

Megan is on the upswing post-OTQ, building her mileage back up, and stacking faster workouts as she preps for a hometown half marathon and a downhill mile. Karen is in the middle of a frustrating foot injury, doing detective work on a likely tendonitis flare-up and going back to a trusted trainer she knows works for her. Rachel is sidelined with a lingering pelvic issue, dreaming about the day she can run again.

Naturally, each of them had a pick to share this week. Two running shoes, one lifestyle staple, all on Zappos. Here's what they're recommending — and why each one fits the moment they're in.

If you grab a pair through one of them, the podcast gets a small kickback — which helps keep the show going. No extra cost to you, just our chickadees getting a little something for the rec.)

Megan Morant’s pick: Saucony Endorphin Azura

“I want to talk to you about a shoe that I've been running in that I'm obsessed with: the Saucony Endorphin Azura. What I like so much about this shoe is, it's actually a non-plated, but a super-foam shoe. It's fast as hell. They are lightweight, bouncy, but not crazy bouncy. I've actually been using these a lot the day after a hard effort, because to me, they give you that super-shoe feel, but there is no plate in it. It's a shoe that I think you could do a long tempo in. But for me, I've been using it as that recovery tool, because if I can run slow in a fast shoe, that's going to make me recover even better — is how I've been looking at it.

They have so many different colors. They have a pink color, they have a green, they have a yellow, they have blue — six different colors. It's a great shoe. I highly recommend, if you're looking to try a lightweight training shoe, I would go with the Saucony Endorphin Azura. Big fan.”

Karen Lesiewicz’s pick: New Balance Fresh Foam X 1080v14

“I ordered New Balance 1080 v14. They just released v15 a few months ago, and so v14 is kind of hard to come by. This is a popular shoe. They come in Wide for my wide-foot girlies. Because I had all this foot stuff come up, I did introduce the New Balance 1080 Wide to my rotation. I'm just going back to the very, very basics.

I cannot recommend these shoes enough. I got them a couple of years ago when I was doing some work with CITIUS MAG at the U.S. Olympic Trials. I tried them out and I became hooked. Try the v15 out if you're feeling spicy.”

Rachel DaDamio's Pick: The New Balance 327

I'm continuing on the shoe trend for my product, but it is a non-running shoe. It's the New Balance 327. I have been obsessed with wearing this shoe. It's very trendy. I'm not sure if it's a San Francisco thing only, but I see it everywhere. I've been loving this shoe — it's so comfortable. I wear it to work, if you're in a more casual workplace; this is a great work shoe. I have the light blue chrome color, and it's currently 10% off on Zappos, and a ton of discounts on a bunch of different colors. The 327s are so cute. I'm thinking about ordering a second pair.”
