How Many Events Are In Track and Field At The Olympics?

Out of 32 sports at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, Track and Field is the largest with 48 events to be contested (which means track nerds like us have more action to watch than any other athletic fandom these next two weeks!)

If that news wasn’t exciting enough, this year also marks a historic milestone: for the first time in Olympic history there will be an equal number of events between the men’s and the women’s sides, with 23 for each gender and 2 mixed events.
