The Millrose Games, set for Sunday, February 1st, are the second stop on the World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold calendar and one of the most historic meets in the world. As such, the meet routinely attracts top-tier fields. But there’s been especially strong buzz around the men’s two-mile this year, with some going as far as calling it “bonkers.”
We already knew stars like Grant Fisher and Cole Hocker—who we chatted with about the race in a recent episode of the CITIUS MAG Podcast—were slated to compete, along with Josh Kerr, who set the 8:00.67 indoor two-mile world record at the Millrose Games in 2024.
Now, meet organizers have officially unveiled the full field, and “bonkers” might be underselling it:
Cole Hocker – World 5000m and Olympic 1500m champion, 7:23.14 indoor 3000m PB (No. 2 on the U.S. and World all-time list), 8:05.70 indoor two-mile PB (No. 2 on the U.S. all-time list, No. 6 on the World all-time list)
