Future NCAA Division I Championship Host Sites Announced For Track And Field + Cross Country

The NCAA has announced the NCAA Division I Championship sites for the 2026 and 2027 NCAA Cross Country Championships, the 2027 and 2028 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships and the 2028 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Here’s what you need to know:

– The NCAA XC championships will return to Terre Haute and be hosted by Indiana State for the first time since 2019. This will be the seventh time the city hosts the championships.

– The Randal Tyson Track Center will host the NCAA Indoor Championships by Arkansas in back-to-back years in 2026 and 2027.

– After a strong NCAA Championship debut in 2024, The TRACK will get the 2028 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships.

– The NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be held at Oregon’s Hayward Field for the 23rd time in 2028.

– 2026: Terre Haute, Ind. (LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course)*

– 2025: Virginia Beach, Va. (Virginia Beach Sports Center)

– 2026: Fayetteville, Ark. (Randal Tyson Track Center)

– 2027: Fayetteville, Ark. (Randal Tyson Track Center)*

– 2028: Boston, Mass. (The TRACK at New Balance)*

NCAA Outdoor Championships:

– 2025: Eugene, Ore. (Hayward Field)
