There aren’t a whole lot of Steve Prefontaine indoor track race videos that are available on the internet.

You’ll likely have many future “Wake Up to…” posts with Prefontaine videos, especially around the Pre Classic but we wanted to pass this one along for your Tuesday.

This is quite the little throwback. We go back to the days when newspapers hosted track meets and when they would sometimes be held in venues where mile took 11 laps to complete. Oh and back to the days when Prefontaine took a race out aggressively from the front.
