USATF Outdoor Championships Will Not Be Televised On NBC

The 2023 USATF Outdoor Championships will be held in Eugene, Oregon from July 6-9 but will not be televised by NBC.

What you need to know:

– USA Track and Field announced the following broadcast schedule for the meet.

DAY 1 – July 6

Live on USATF.TV+ (with a $12.99 monthly or $119.88 annual subscription)

DAY 2 – July 7

Live on USATF.TV+ (with a $12.99 monthly or $119.88 annual subscription) from 2:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET

Televised on CNBC from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. ET

Field event feeds will be on USATF.TV+

DAY 3 – July 8

Live on USATF.TV+ (with a $12.99 monthly or $119.88 annual subscription) from 9:30 a.m. ET to 11:30 a.m. ET

Live on USATF.TV+ (with a $12.99 monthly or $119.88 annual subscription) from 7:10 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET

Televised on CNBC from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET

Field event feeds will be on USATF.TV+

DAY 4

Live on USATF.TV+ (with a $12.99 monthly or $119.88 annual subscription) from 7 p.m. ET to 9 p.m. ET

– You will be able to stream the meet on Peacock.

As noted by Jonathan Gault on Twitter, this is the first time that no portion of the U.S. Championships will be broadcast live on NBC since 2006.

– NBC will air Dateline and local and regional news and the Tonight Show on Friday night from 10:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. ET. NBC will air re-runs of America’s Got Talent from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday night.

– The U.S. Championships will determine the team that will go on to compete at the World Championships in Budapest from Aug. 19-27.
