When Will Track and Field Start At The Olympics?

While opening ceremonies kick things off on Friday, July 26th, Track and Field at the Paris Olympics will commence on Thursday, August 1st with the Men’s 20K Race Walk at 7:30 a.m. local time (1:30 a.m. ET). Events inside the purple-primed Stade de France will begin with the Men’s Decathlon 100m on Friday, August 2nd at 10:05 a.m. local time (4:05 a.m. ET).
