Top 5 best things about marathon training so far:
- Using mileage to justify eating ice cream every night
- Cheaper to drink because you get lit off two beers
- Sleeping late technically counts as “recovery”
- No one is mad when you bail on plans because you’re tired
- Marathon pace is slower than half marathon pace
Top 5 worst things about marathon training so far:
- Single-digit mileage days no longer exist
- Long runs and recovering from long runs take up an entire weekend day
- My Butt is literally always sore
- I’m not allowed to take naps at work
- Standing on the train after workouts is nearly impossible
