The 1609 Podcast is a weekly show where we Alexandra Sizemore and Evan Schwartz talk all things running.
Why 1609? It’s the number of meters in a mile! Each week we’ll highlight some professional running news, give gear or shoe reviews, talk about our own running and answer listener questions. Every other week we interview a guest who is involved in the running world in some way. Whether the guest is a professional runner, journalist, race director, or local runner we think that everyone has their own unique story and running experiences and we’re here to share those with you.
Alex works in sports social media marketing in Dallas, Texas and started running in 2014 after graduating from Ole Miss. Evan is the manager of a locally owned running store in Columbus, OH and has turned his running focuses to the USATF Road Championship series. In 2017 he qualified to the 2020 Olympic Marathon Trials.
