Chris Chavez and Kyle Merber sit down with Keira D'Amato a day after she competed in the 2023 World Athletics Championships marathon, where she finished 17th overall in 2:31:35 in scorching conditions. She was dealing with pain in her right leg but decided to finish the race for her kids, who were watching at home. We unpack the race, discuss her thoughts on the 2024 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials and more.

He covered the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and grew his humble blog into a multi-pronged media company. He completed all six World Marathon Majors and is an aspiring sub-five-minute miler.
