Attention, New York City Citwits! We will have boots on the ground in the Big Apple next weekend for the TCS New York City Marathon.

Staff writers Chris Chavez, Jeanne Mack and Paul Snyder will be taking the long way from Staten Island to Central Park as they race the marathon. Ryan Sterner and Stephen Kersh will be flying in to blog away all weekend. Ammar Moussa comes to town to also blog but share the sights and sounds of the marathon on social media. Jason Suarez will be doing his thing behind the camera as usual.

We want to meet some of you. On Friday evening, Chris will be hosting a LIVE taping of the CITIUS MAG Podcast at the NYRR RUNCENTER feat. the New Balance Run Hub.

Who? Chris Chavez (CITIUS MAG co-founder and Sports Illustrated writer) and Kit Fox (Men’s Journal senior editor, former Runner’s World writer) preview the TCS New York City Marathon elite races. Chris will also be interviewing Mike Wardian before the CITIUS Podcast taping. Wardian will be discussing his seven marathons on seven continents in 7 days at 5 p.m. ET

What? The CITIUS MAG Podcast live in person. Subscribe on iTunes. Leave a five-star review. We are open to the idea of holding a little shakeout run (probably no more than three easy miles) in Central Park after the panel.

When? The CITIUS MAG TCS New York City Marathon preview show begins at 6 p.m. and will run until 6:50 p.m. Chris and Mike Wardian will be chatting at 5 p.m. if that interests you.
