Price of a Mile: Get to know Moh Ahmed

June 16, 2017

Moh Ahmed’s transitions in life have always been seamless. The son of Somali refugees, Moh spent his early life in Kenya before moving to Canada in 2001 and discovering an innate talent for running. Fast forward to 2012 and Moh is running for Wisconsin, making the Canadian Olympic team and working towards a successful professional career. Now a seasoned member of the Bowerman Track Club, Moh is ever so patiently working towards getting on the medal stand. He missed Olympic bronze by seconds in Rio and after just missing the 13 minute barrier this winter in Boston, the journey doesn’t become so much about when but how. Moh Ahmed is poetry. Let Woody Kincaid show you the rhyme and meter in this month’s edition of The Price of a Mile.
