If you’re a big sports fan, you may have heard that Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye have their own podcast and it’s an interesting perspective into active athletes on a winning team. Here at Citius Mag, we’re happy to announce that we’re looking to make that type of podcast possibly translate into track and field with the help of Woody Kincaid. He reached out with an idea to interview his Bowerman Track Club teammates for a monthly podcast. (If it’s a hit, we can maybe see if he can work in a few more episodes here and there.)
It’s one way of getting to know some of the men and women in U.S. track and field’s most successful distance running group.
Kincaid is also the rookie of the bunch so he’s also learning a thing or two from his veteran teammates.
His first episode is with Olympic silver medalist Evan Jager. The American record holder in the steeplechase goes as far back as when he started running all the way to an outlook at what life will be like for him at 75 years old.
Here is the first episode of The Price of A Mile podcast:
The podcast is under review on iTunes and should be available to subscribe to soon.
Let Kincaid know what you think about the first episode by tweeting at him @Upwoody.
