Isaac Wood is the CITIUS MAG cross country contributor and longtime author of The Wood Report (our NCAA cross country projections). He joins the podcast to preview the 2019 NCAA Cross Country National Championships.
Isaac has been producing a very strategic and statistical algorithm to predicting where everyone will finish in the race and who will win. He shares insight into who he predicts will win the 2019 NCAA Cross Country Championships, which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23 in Terre Haute, Indiana.
For those curious on the method to his madness, here is the introductory post on how he has devised my rankings and ratings. We’ll see how right and how wrong he is on Saturday. Regardless of his personal results, we are in for a thrilling race and one of the best in years on both the individual and team levels.
Keep in mind that Isaac’s projections and All-American picks do not include BYU in its scoring because he is the Cougars’ director of operations and does not want to share where he has his athletes. He explains his reasoning behind his picks on the show.
