Should I listen to music while I run? A visual guide

By Stephen Kersh

February 4, 2017

My favorite thing in the world is when people ask me what kind of music I listen to when I run and I tell them, “I don’t listen to music when I run.” Then they give me this weird, faceless stare and walk away from me.

These interactions have led me to consider listening to music when I run so people won’t walk away from me.

I made a flowchart to help me, and I hope it helps you.

Make your case for running with or without headphones in the comments section below.
