Welcome to USA Indoors Week!

By Paul Snyder

February 27, 2017

Giddy up, friends.

It’s USA Indoors Week here at Citius Mag, and as one of the premier indoor track-focused websites on the net today, we couldn’t be more excited!

Several members of our esteemed staff have secured press credentials for the event, and though we still await an invite to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner from baby-headed Sean Spicer, we are delighted to join our track & field media colleagues at Albuquerque, NM’s beautiful downtown convention center. If any of ya’ll will be in attendance, just tweet at us, or find us at Frontier on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night after the meet, smearing green and/or red chile on ourselves.

In our capacity as members of the dishonest media, we will be live-tweeting the meet, taking photographs of the action, providing nightly recaps, arm-wrestling any challengers and maybe doing some Facebook Live stuff too. (Outside of the venues, of course!)

And in order to get ya’ll all hyped up for the meet, all week long we’ll be blasting out content you can count on — we’ll be giving you the rundown on HOT RACES, ALTITUDE CONVERSIONS, LAST MINUTE SCRATCHES, THE TOP BREAKFAST SPOTS IN HOST CITY ALBUQUERQUE, and MORE!

We know indoor track isn’t as conventionally sexy in the eyes of most track fans as its outdoor equivalent, but with this year’s USATF Indoor Track & Field Championships featuring a variety of “off-distance” events, as well as more star-studded fields than one would likely expect from a year without an IAAF World Indoor Championship, this meet promises to be a good one.

Have any questions you’d like answers? Pieces you’d like produced? Just shoot us an email at citiusmag@gmail.com. We aim to please.
