Stanford freshmen Lex and Leo Young have signed a Name Image Likeness deal with On.
Here’s what you need to know:
– The Young brothers join their Stanford teammates Ky Robinson, Juliette Whittaker, Amy Bunnage and Cole Sprout as NIL athletes with the Swiss sportswear company. Because Stanford is a Nike-sponsored school, the Cardinal athletes are not able to wear On at practice or Stanford-organized events but can wear the apparel and footwear on their own time.
– The Young brothers rose to prominence at Newbury Park High School (CA) as part of arguably the greatest U.S. high school cross-country team of all time in 2022. Their YouTube channel, L&L Productions, boasts more than 47,000 subscribers. They have more than 108,000 Instagram followers combined.

– This spring, Lex Young broke the U.S. high school record in the 5000m with a 13:34.96 at the Los Angeles Grand Prix. He just wrapped up his freshman cross country season and finished 74th at the NCAA Cross Country Championships.
– Leo Young owns a personal best of 3:39.39 for 1500m. He represented Team USA at the World U20 Cross Country Championships in Bathurst, Australia in February. He finished 185th at the 2023 NCAA Cross Country Championships.
