Texas’ Yusuf Bizimana, the 2023 NCAA Indoor 800m champion, has signed a Name, Image and Likeness deal with On.
Here’s what you need to know:
– In March, Bizimana finished second to Mississippi State’s Navasky Anderson in the men’s 800m fina but was upgraded to the win after the DQ for flagrantly impeding.
– During the outdoor season, he won the Big 12 title and the NCAA West Regional before notching a personal best of 1:45.74 as he finished second at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships before a home crowd. He went on to finish sixth at the British national championships. He also competed in the 800m at the London Diamond League.
– He is the first Texas athlete to sign an NIL deal with On. The Swiss sportswear company has NIL deals with:
